2020 March Election Notice and Ballot Question
Notice is hereby given that the Election of Township Officers and Annual Meeting of Bridgewater Township will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at 8:15pm. Officers up for election as follows:
-One Supervisor – three-year term
The question: “Shall option A, providing for a five-member town board of supervisors, be adopted for the government of the town?” will also be on the ballot.
Voting hours will be from 10:00am to 8:00pm. Canvass of votes will take place following the closing of the polls.
Annual Meeting will convene at 8:15pm to conduct all business necessary as prescribed by law.
In the case of inclement weather, the Annual Meeting and Election will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at:
Bridgewater Town Hall,
500 Railway Street, Dundas MN
Any persons wishing to vote by absentee ballot may do so by contacting the Rice County Auditor’s Office in Faribault, MN up until March 10, 2020 at 3:00pm.
Where to Vote
All residents of Bridgewater Township vote at the Bridgewater Town Hall for local, state, and federal elections. The Town Hall is located at:
500 Railway Street,
Dundas, MN 55019
Any persons wishing to vote by absentee ballot may do so by contacting the Rice County Auditor’s Office in Faribault, MN up until 3:00 pm on election day.
Serve as Election Judge
Any township resident interested in serving as election judge or being trained as an election judge is welcome to contact the Clerk for additional information. Training is offered in even years. Once a person is trained as election judge, they are eligible to serve anywhere in the state.
