Township Elections
Notice is hereby given that the Election of Township Officers and Annual Meeting of Bridgewater Township will be held on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at 8:15pm. Officers up for election as follows:
-One Treasurer, 2-year term
-One Supervisor “A” – 3-year term
-One Supervisor “B” – 1-year term
-One Supervisor “D” – 3-year term
-One Supervisor “E” – 2-year term
Voting hours will be from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm. Canvass of votes will take place following the election results.
The Annual Meeting will convene at 8:15 pm and be postponed to Wednesday, June 2, at 7:00 pm to conduct all business necessary as prescribed by law. Any persons wishing to vote by absentee ballot may do so by contacting the Rice County Auditor’s Office in Faribault, MN up until March 9, 2021 at 3:00pm. An absentee ballot can be requested through Rice County by applying at https://www.sos.state.mn.us/elections-voting/other-ways-to-vote/vote-early-by-mail/ Please keep in mind mail times if you choose to vote by absentee.
